Michael Angelo Design
The focus of Michael Angelo Design is to create clean contemporary jewelry that will provide years of pleasure to the original owner as well as last the test of time to become family heirlooms. Pilla creates his line from platinum and eighteen karat gold using diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones chosen for their
quality, value and enduring beauty.

Michael Angelo Pilla, award winning goldsmith and designer, began
Michael Angelo Design in the basement of his home in 1979.

Michael has won the following jewelry awards:
… Three time finalist for the prestigious Diamonds International Awards
by DeBeers in 1986, 1988 and 1990
… New Designer of the Year by the Retail Jewelers of America in 1991
… Diamonds of Distinction Winner by DeBeers in 1991
… Platinum Spectrum Award in 1996

Michael is a member of the Contemporary Design Group, a national association of professional jewelry designers. He served CDG as president from 1992 – 1994.

Michael was invited to appear in the American Design Gallery at the
1993 Spring Basel Jewelry and Watch show in Basel, Switzerland.

Michael’s work is shown in over 200 jewelry stores nationwide and in Harrods Department Store in London. His work has been featured in Vogue, McCalls and Modern Bride magazines.

During 1994 – 1996, Michael attended Bible School and Seminary. Today, he continues designing jewelry and serves as pastor of Jesus in the City Fellowship,
an inner city church he founded in south Minneapolis.

In addition to designing jewelry, Michael entered Bible College and Seminary in 1994-96, becoming an ordained minister. He is now leading an exciting new inner city church in South Minneapolis.
